We are missionaries currently living and working in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Verse 21 refers to Jesus Christ, who paid the penalty of our sins by his death on the cross, enabling us to be reconciled with God. To learn more about Jesus, read the gospel of Mark in a modern version of the New Testament.
